My α Journey: Expressions

Humans are a funny lot. Humans, apart from their closest genetic relative, the monkeys, are the only species in the world that shows their feeling through facial expressions. Their faces change whenever things happen. Their lips could curl upwards indicating that they are feeling joyous, but curling downwards would mean that they are not having a good day. When adding a sound of laughter to an upward curl, would mean that they are having a lot of fun.

Thanks to the technology of film and camera, we can capture these moments to be kept as fond memories, reliving the past in the future.

A friend's wedding, a day where two person vows to share their lives with one another. Definitely a lot of happiness to go around.

Holidays are definitely fun, there's no doubt about that. Cheerful faces, having adventures, soakin' up the sun and having a blast! I miss those times, running around the beach with an empty CF card and a fully charged battery. Let's plan for a next outing guys!

Our friend Aaron (far right) brought along his umbrella which can be doubled as a diffuser, I placed my F42AM on a tripod, fired the flash wirelessly and voila!

Events are definitely a place to go to learn skills hands-on. Stage can give very flattering backlight if taken from the right angles. 

Who says big boys don't cry? Not that I'm implying that this spikey haired dude here is crying or anything, just that he looks down, or probably he's waiting for his buddies and they are late. I'd be angry too if I were to wait for an hour outside. 

During the Euro Cup Finals is the season for cheering! Cheering for favourite teams... chilling out at McDonalds having a drink, eating some fries, watching football. Cheering!
