My α Journey: Prologue

My Alpha. My Story.

I still remember the time when I was still thinking of getting my 1st dSLR camera. Contemplating on what to get, which is better, would it be good... all sorts of questions running through my mind.

After searching high and low for deals around town, gathering information from friends, testing the camera out for myself, and alas I have decided!

On 6th December 2007, I am finally a proud owner of an Alpha A100 with a twin lens kit.

I've never looked back since. Photography is not as easy as putting the camera up to eye level, look through the viewfinder and press the shutter button - nowadays, with the A300 and A350, you can even skip the step involving the viewfinder. It a whole learning process altogether.

I am still keeping my 1st shots taken with the A100.



What most of us would shoot at the very 1st time of owning a camera; whatever that is placed in front of you at the moment in the shop. In this case, my polarizer.



This, I believe will lead us down a road filled with fantastic captured memories, faces, laughters and tears.
